Rosalinde Renn

Rosalinde Renn (born July 14, 1941 in Graz ) is a German theater , film actress and director .

Live and act

Renn had her first engagement as an actress at the Stadttheater St. Gallen , after which she was engaged from 1968 to 1974 in the Düggelin era at the Theater Basel. In her acting career she was established at several theaters, including the Theater am Neumarkt Zurich, the theaters in Frankfurt am Main, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Karlsruhe and the Stadttheater Bern .

As a director she worked with various groups in Switzerland, where she a. a. at the Theaterhaus Gessnerallee Elektra and at the Stadttheater St. Gallen Irmgard Keuns staged The Artificial Silk Girl . She also appeared in a few film and television productions, including a. in Reinhard Münster's action thriller The Eighth Day or in the entertainment series Man Stay True .

On the occasion of her 50th anniversary on the stage, the author Krystyan Tomzek wrote the play “Last Curtain” for Rosalinde Renn. The premiere took place in December 2009 at the Theater Baden-Baden .
