Rose May Alaba (* 1994 in Vienna ) is an Austrian singer .

Life

Alaba's mother Gina comes from the Philippines , her father George Alaba from Nigeria and her brother is the Austrian national soccer player David Alaba . Her father George used to be a rapper and had some success as the male part of the pop-dance duo Two in One in the late 1990s .

Her early musical education began at the age of four. She first took piano lessons and later learned to play the guitar. In 2011 she became a member of the girl group BFF , which was put together in the casting show Popstars - Mission Austria and disbanded in 2013. In addition to music, she also devotes herself to acting. In 2014 she completed her training at the 1st filmacademy in Vienna. In May 2015 she released All Of This Is You with which she entered the Austrian single charts at number 16. She also reached the Austrian single charts in August 2016 with the single Love Me Right produced by Rodney Hunter .

In 2016, she lost almost 30 kg within a short time with a change in diet and fitness training.
