Rose Hart

Rose Hart (born January 9, 1942 ) is a former Ghanaian sprinter , hurdler , discus thrower and shot putter .

At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth in 1962 , she was eliminated over 100 yards , 220 yards and 80 m hurdles in the lead. With the Ghanaian 4-by-110-yard relay, she finished fifth.

In 1964 she reached the quarterfinals over 100 m and the semifinals over 80 m hurdles at the Olympic Games in Tokyo . In the following year she won gold over 80 m hurdles and bronze over 100 m at the Africa Games .

At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston in 1966 , she failed over 100 yards and 80 m hurdles in the first round. In 1973 she won the discus throw at the Africa Games. In 1974 she was tenth in the discus throw at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch and was eliminated in qualifying in the shot put.
