Rosemary Karpinsky Dodero

Rose Marie Karpinsky Dodero de Murillo (born October 24, 1936 ) is a former Costa Rican diplomat .

Life

Rose Marie Karpinsky Dodero de Murillo is the daughter of Consuelo Dodero Araya and Alejandro Karpinsky. She married Fernando Murillo; their children are Marisia, Sandra and Rose Marie. She has seven grandchildren. Rose Marie Karpinsky Dodero de Murillo received her high school diploma from the Colegio de Niñas de Nuestra Señora de Sión , graduated from the Universidad de Costa Rica with a degree in humanities and philosophy, and received her doctorate in philosophy from the Universidad de Costa Rica, where she received a Held professorship.

She was employed in the education sector, was a member of the assembly of the Cantón de Montes de Oca for the Partido Liberación Nacional .

From 1974 to 1975 she was ambassador to Jerusalem . From 1986 to 1990 she sat in the Legislative Assembly of Costa Rica , which she chaired from 1986 to 1987.

From 1994 to 1997 she was ambassador in Madrid , and from 1996 also with Hassan II in Rabat and with the sovereign Order of Malta .

In 1997 she was an ambassador to the Holy See .
