Rosemarie Gerstenberg

Rosemarie Gerstenberg (born April 12, 1918 in Tübingen ) is a German actress and radio play speaker .

Life

Gerstenberg attended the drama school of the German Theater Berlin from 1937 to 1938 and made her stage debut there in 1938 as "Käthchen" in Sigmund Graff's Einsame Tat . She received her first engagement at DT between 1938 and 1941. Theater stations followed in Karlsbad, Aussig, Esslingen, Stuttgart, Frankfurt am Main and, from 1953 to 1958, Thalia Theater in Hamburg. Gerstenberg played the "Blanche" in Tennessee Williams ' Endstation Sehnsucht in Stuttgart, the title role in Lessing's "Minna von Barnhelm" as well as "Hester" in Terence Rattigan's Alluring Depth , "Iduna" in Paul Burkhard's Fireworks and "Herminone" in Shakespeare's Winter fairy tale in Hamburg.

In addition, Rosemarie Gerstenberg repeatedly took on roles in film and television productions such as in the multi-part series Tadellöser & Wolff and A Chapter for Yourself after Walter Kempowski , Werner Völger 's rattigan adaptation The Farewell Gift and Jo Baier's drama Wambo . She also made guest appearances in television series and series such as Tatort , Air Albatros and Pastor Lenau . In addition, she worked extensively as a speaker for radio play productions.

Rosemarie Gerstenberg was married to the director Ilo von Jankó for the second time . Her son from her first marriage is the actor and director Andreas Gerstenberg.
