Rosmarie Welter-Enderlin

Rosmarie Welter-Enderlin (* February 24, 1935 - April 4, 2010 ) was a Swiss systemic consultant and psychotherapist .

Life

Rosmarie Welter-Enderlin studied after the bachelor degree in Economics , the specialist social work in Zurich and Social Sciences at the University of Michigan . In 1973 she taught behavior therapy at the School for Social Work in Zurich. Welter-Enderlin specialized in couple and family therapy and in 1987 founded the training institute for systemic therapy and counseling in Meilen , which she headed until 2005. At the same time, together with Hans-Werner Gessmann, she was one of the co-founders of the systemic family therapy program at the Bergerhausen Psychotherapeutic Institute . She has authored numerous books and articles. In addition, she designed a number of sound carriers, including a. Power makes effort and affective framing of therapeutic and counseling approaches.

She worked as a lecturer at the University of Zurich and was a member of the editorial board of the international journal Family Process .

Award

2003: “American Family Therapy Academy Award” in the category “Outstanding Contribution to Theory and Practice of Family Therapy ”.
