Đovani Roso ( Hebrew ג'ובאני רוסו, Italian Giovanni Rosso ) (born November 17, 1972 in Split , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian football player of Italian descent.

The attacking midfielder comes from Hajduk Split's youth and began his professional career in 1994 at NK Zagreb . For the 1996/97 season he moved to Israel and joined Hapoel Be'er Sheva , with whom he won the Israeli Cup in 1997. He then went to Hapoel Haifa FC , for which he played until 2000 and was Israeli champions in 1998. His next stop was Beitar Jerusalem for a season . For the 2001/02 season Roso moved to Maccabi Haifa , for which he scored 23 goals in 101 games by 2005. During this time he was four times Israeli champion with the club (2001, 2002, 2004, 2005). This was followed by a move to Maccabi Tel Aviv , for whom he scored one goal in 22 games. In the 2007/08 season Roso played again for Maccabi Haifa and went back to his youth club Hajduk Split after a year. There he ended his career in summer 2009.

Between 2002 and 2004 Roso played 19 times for the Croatian national soccer team . He was in the squad for the 2004 European Championship and was used in all three of the team's games during the tournament.

In 1999 and 2002 he was named Israel's Footballer of the Year . Roso also has Israeli citizenship.
