Ross Caldwell (born October 26, 1993 in Bellshill ) is a Scottish football player who plays for Greenock Morton .

Club career

Ross Caldwell began playing football at the age of seven and subsequently played for numerous youth clubs in Scotland. At the age of 11 he moved with his family from Bothwell to Hamilton . From the U-15 of the Whitehill Wanderers from Hamilton, Caldwell finally moved to the youth of Hibernian Edinburgh . Here he was able to debut in the 2011/12 season for the Hibs in the league game against Glasgow Rangers after being substituted on for Leigh Griffiths . In March 2012, Caldwell signed a new contract until 2014 with the Hibees . With Hibernian , the striker reached the cup final 2012/13 which was lost 3-0 to Celtic Glasgow , Caldwell came in for Kevin Thomson in the 78th minute . In January 2014 it was awarded to Alloa Athletic . After the loan expired, he moved to FC St. Mirren . After half a year of membership, Caldwell moved to Greenock Morton .
