Rosslyn Erskine Wemyss, 1st Baron Wester Wemyss , GCB , CMG , MVO (born April 12, 1864 in London , United Kingdom , † May 24, 1933 in Cannes , France ) was a British Admiral of the Fleet and first Sea Lord ( first Sea Lord : 1917-1919) the British navy.

He was the youngest son of James Hay Erskine-Wemyss (1829-1864) and his wife Millicent Anne Mary Erskine († 1895). Since 1903 he was married to Victoria Morier (1864-1945). With her he had a daughter, Alice Elizabeth Millicent Erskine-Wemyss (1906-1994).

Wemyss signed the Compiègne Armistice Agreement (1918) to end the First World War . Together with the French Marshal Ferdinand Foch , he led the Entente delegation after the victory over the Central Powers .

On November 18, 1919 he was given the hereditary title of nobility Baron Wester Wemyss , of Wemyss in the County of Fife in the Peerage of the United Kingdom . Since he had no male offspring, the title expired on his death.
