Rote Selatan ( German Südroti ) is an Indonesian district ( Kecamatan ) in the administrative district of Rote Ndao (province of East Nusa Tenggara ). The main town is Oele in the west of Rote Selatan. 5,173 people live in the district.
geography
Rote Selatan is located on the south coast of the center of the island of Roti . To the west lies the Bay of Hena and the Lobalain district , in the northwest the Rote Tengah district , in the northeast the Pantai Baru district and in the south the Timor Sea . Red Selatan is divided into five Desa :
In Rote Selatan is the Musaklain , at 444 m the highest mountain on the island.
