Lobalain is an Indonesian district ( Kecamatan ) in Rote Ndao administrative district ( East Nusa Tenggara Province ). The main town is Ba'a ( Baadale ). 24,789 people live in the district.
geography
Lobalain is located in the center of Roti Island . To the south lies the Bay of Hena ( Timor Sea ), in the north the Savu Sea . To the west are the Rote Barat Laut and Rote Barat Daya districts , to the east the Rote Tengah and Rote Selatan districts . The district also includes the smaller islands of Batu Bibi and Liu . The total area is 145.71 km². The district is divided into 11 Desa and three Kelurahan :
