Rote Timur ( German Ostroti ) is an Indonesian district ( Kecamatan ) in the administrative district Rote Ndao (province of East Nusa Tenggara ). The main town is E'ahun ( Eahun ), in the east of the district.
geography
Rote Timur is located in the east of the island of Roti . To the west is the Pantai Baru district and to the north on the Tapuafu peninsula is the Landu Leko district , which was separated from Rote Timur in 2012. The isthmus, which connects the peninsula with the rest of the Roti, is framed by the Bay of Korobafo to the west and by the Bay of Pepela to the east . The Timor Sea lies east of Rote Timur . Red Timur is divided into nine villages (Desa) and a Kelurahan :
