Rothleiten is a part of the municipality Berg in the district of Hof in Bavaria .

Rothleiten is located with the upper and lower village on the ridge of the Franconian Forest west of Berg in the middle of the forest on the road to Naila , where there is a larger quarry. On November 1, 2012, a total of 89 people lived in the Rothleiten district.
