The Rothornhütte is a mountain hut belonging to the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) in the Valais Alps . It is located at an altitude of 3198 m above sea level. M. below the southeast ridge of the Zinalrothorn .
Approach
The hut can be reached from Zermatt via a hiking trail in five hours. The Hotel du Trift is about halfway down the road.
