Rottersham is a district of the market in Ruhstorf an der Rott in the Lower Bavarian district of Passau .

Rottersham is located on State Road 2619 a little northeast of Ruhstorf an der Rott.

history

In a Passau tradition from the beginning of the 9th century, a Ratolt hands over his property on the Rott to St. Stephan . In 1259 the cathedral chapter on the Rott had verifiably property. The place is still written Rotoltzham in 1333 , which includes the personal name Ratolt. Still in the year of conscription 1752, the Rottersham as chairman of Ruhstorf in office v. Wald belonging to the district court Griesbach , the cathedral chapter of Passau was the most important landlord in Rottersham, but the Vornbach monastery was also wealthy here. Since the community was formed at the beginning of the 19th century, Rottersham has been part of the community of Ruhstorf, now Markt Ruhstorf an der Rott.
