Roundup is a city in the US state of Montana and the administrative seat of Musselshell County .

Roundup is located in central Montana and extends over an area of 3.47 km². The city is surrounded by the Bull Mountains , a mountain range of the Rocky Mountains , and the Musselshell River flows through it.

history
Originally Roundup was a place where ranchers their cattle rounded up (English: roundup ), hence the name.
