The Rowland Glacier is a glacier in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Elizabeth Range of the Transantarctic Mountains, it flows on the north side of the Frigate Range in an easterly direction to the Lowery Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis own Tellurometervermessungen and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from the years between 1960 and 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 by Robert W. Rowland, glaciologist of the United States Antarctic Research Program on the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in two Antarctic summer campaigns between 1962 and 1964.
