Roy Hähnlein (born March 2, 1987 in Glauchau ) is a German ice hockey player who currently plays at the ETC Crimmitschau in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey . Hähnlein is a left-shooter and acts as a defender.

Career

Hähnlein began his career in 2004 in the junior division of the ETC Crimmitschau in the junior Bundesliga. In the 2006/07 season he played for the first time in the professional team of the Eispiraten, for which he has since played 16 Bundesliga games.

Hähnlein has a contract with the Eispiraten Crimmitschau, but is also used - in order to gain match practice - with a sponsorship license at ESC Hall 04 in the major league.
