Roy Hollingsworth
Roy Hollingsworth ( Roy Anselm Hollingsworth; born December 28, 1933 , † September 14, 2014 ) was a British - Trinidadian discus thrower and shot putter .
At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1962 , he finished seventh for England in the discus throw and came in 14th in the shot put.
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 he was tenth in the discus throw as the representative of the United Kingdom .
Starting for Trinidad and Tobago, he won the 1966 Central American and Caribbean Games in the discus throw and won silver in the shot put. At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston , he was fifth in the discus throw and seventh in the shot put.
In 1964 he was the English champion in discus throwing.
After his active career, he became a sports director at the University of the West Indies .
