Roy Sandstrom
Roy Sandstrom ( Eric Roy Sandstrom; born September 11, 1931 ) is a former British sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 he was eliminated over 100 m in the quarter-finals and over 200 m in the preliminary run. In the 4 x 100 meter relay , he came with the British team in fifth place.
In 1958 he reached the semi-finals at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff over 100 yards and won the 4-by-110-yard relay with the English team. Shortly afterwards he reached the semi-finals at the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm over 100 m and won silver with the British 4 x 100 meter relay.
In 1955 he was over 100 yards English champion.
