Roza Dereje Bekele ( Amharic ሮዛ ደረጀ, born May 9, 1997 ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner .
Career
In 2016 and 2017 she won the Shanghai Marathon , in 2018 the Dubai Marathon with a course record in 2:19:17 hours. At the 2018 Chicago Marathon , she finished second in 2:21:18 hours.
In December 2019, the 22-year-old won the Valencia Marathon and set a personal best and a new course record with her winning time of 2:18:30 h.
