Rubén Miño Peralta (born January 18, 1989 in Cornellà de Llobregat ) is a Spanish football goalkeeper .

Career

Youth career

Miño began his career at FC Barcelona in 2000 when he was accepted into the club's youth teams at the age of 11. There he played continuously in the club's various youth teams until 2004 and finally came to La Masia , the club's own youth academy , in 2004 at the age of 15 . In the same year, however, the aspiring goalkeeper switched to the offspring of the lower-class UE Cornellà , his home club, on loan . With the Catalans it finally held him until 2006, before returning to his original club. After his return, Miño was active in the next generation and ended his youth career as a 19-year-old in 2008.

The time at FC Barcelona B

After he was brought into the club's B team in 2008 under the then coach Pep Guardiola , which at that time still played under the name Barcelona Atlètic , the 19-year-old goalkeeper followed on August 31, 2008 in the game against PD Santa Eulalia made his competitive debut. After a total of 29 championship appearances, Miño finished the season with the team in fifth place, with the team barely making it into the promotion play-off. He was on the first day of the 2-1 away win over Celta Vigo for the full game in the goal of FC Barcelona B. Previously, the goalkeeping talent in the summer of 2010 extended his current contract with Barcelona Atlètic.

Called up for the U-21 national team

To his first enlistment in the Spanish U-21 team Miño came on 6 February 2009, when he for a game against Norway U-21 was brought into the squad.
