Ruben Brynolf Carlsson (born January 22, 1913 in Stockholm , † February 14, 2004 in Nacka ) was a Swedish ice hockey player .
Career
Ruben Carlsson took part in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen as a striker for the Swedish national ice hockey team. It was used in the 2-0 preliminary round win on February 6, 1936 against Japan and in the final round match on February 13, 1936 against the USA , which was lost 2-1. In the latter, he scored the goal for Sweden. He was with his team 5th in the Olympic Games and fourth in the European Championship.
Ruben Carlsson won the Swedish championship with the Hammarby IF in 1932 and 1933 and with the AIK in 1938 and 1947 . In the seasons 1932/33, 1936/37 and 1937/38 he was also the top scorer in Division 1 .
