Communities Rubicon

The Rubicon River is a river in the middle of the Australian state of Victoria .

It rises in the Blue Range below Mount Margaret , flows north and flows into the Goulburn River west of Thornton .

Its main tributary is the Royston River . The Rubicon Hydroelectric Scheme was built on the Rubicon River and the Royston River in 1924 , a power plant that today has an output of 13  MW .
