Rudi Keller

Rudi Keller (born October 4, 1942 in Mannheim ) is a German linguist .

Career

Rudi Keller studied German language and literature and art history at the University of Heidelberg from 1964 to 1969 . In 1978 he completed his habilitation in Düsseldorf for the subject of German linguistics . From 1978 to 2010 he was a university professor at the German Department of the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf . His research areas are language change , sign theory and corporate communication .

From 1992 to 1994 he was chairman of the German Society for Linguistics . He was dean of the Philosophical Faculty at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf from 1994 to 1998. Since 1996 he has been a juror for the “Language” segment in the annual “manager magazin” competition The best annual report .
