Rudi Schweikert

Rudi Schweikert (born January 4, 1952 in Mannheim ) is a German private scholar , writer and academic publicist.

Life

After studying German and philosophy, he was a research assistant at the University of Mannheim. He lives as a scientist and freelance author in Mannheim. He is a member of the PEN Center Germany and the Free Academy of the Arts Rhein-Neckar. His work focuses on German-language literature of the 19th and 20th centuries, especially Kurd Laßwitz , Karl May , Arno Schmidt and Sir Galahad ; He has so far written about 600 articles on these and other authors in newspapers, magazines, anthologies, encyclopedias and for radio. His achievements were honored with the special prize of the Kurd-Laßwitz-Prize and the Wilhelm-Michels- Prize.
