Rudolf Hanncke

Rudolf Hanncke (born April 27, 1844 in Tilsit ; † February 17, 1904 in Köslin ) was a German high school teacher , historian and geographer .

Rudolf Hanncke was a son of the pharmacist Friedrich Hanncke and his wife Molly Jaquet. He went to the Collegium Fridericianum in Königsberg , then studied at the university there and was awarded a doctorate in 1866. phil. PhD. He was a professor at the Köslin grammar school . Since 1886 Hanncke was a member of the advisory board of the Society for Pomeranian History and Archeology . He died of a heart attack .
