The 2017/18 snooker season was a series of snooker tournaments that are part of the Main Tour .
Season results
For the season, 26 competitions were added to the tournament calendar. 19 events were world ranking tournaments, including the four tournaments of the Home Nations Series , two tournaments with amateur participation and the shoot-out tournament. The 7 invitation tournaments included the 6-Red World Championship, the Championship League and two team competitions.

In addition to the 64 best-placed players in the world rankings at the end of the 2016/17 season and 32 players who were eligible to start for two years in 2016, the following players were given a starting place for the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons:
