The snooker Asian Cup 2017 was the 33rd edition of the Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports hosted the continental championship in billiards variant Snooker . It took place in Doha from April 22-28, 2017 .
The Asian champion was Lü Haotian from China, who defeated Indian Pankaj Advani 6: 3 in the final and qualified for the Main Tour seasons 2017/18 and 2018/19 .

The 65 participating players were divided into 16 groups, in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The top two in each group qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system .
