The snooker Asian Cup 2016 was the 32nd of the Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports hosted the continental championship in billiards variant Snooker . It took place from April 16-23, 2016 in Doha .
Asian champion was Kritsanut Lertsattayathorn from Thailand, who defeated the Emirati Mohammed Shehab 6-2 in the final and thus qualified for the Main Tour seasons 2016/17 and 2017/18 .

The 58 participating players were divided into 12 groups in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The top two in each group qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system .
