The U21 Asian Snooker Championship 2015 was the 16th edition of the continental championship organized by the Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports for U21 juniors in the snooker version of billiards . It took place from April 7th to 13th, 2015 in the Chinese capital Beijing . China hosted the U21 Asian Cup for the first time.
For the third time in a row, a Thai won. Akani Songsermsawad defeated 15-year-old Chinese Yuan Sijun 6-4 in the final and thus received a ticket for the Main Tour seasons 2015/16 and 2016/17 . Sijun would win the title two years later.
Attendees
34 players from nine countries took part in the tournament, with the host being the best represented country with ten players. Furthermore, four Indians took part, three players each from Thailand, Hong Kong and Iran and two Syrians and two Koreans each. One player each came from Pakistan and Japan.
Group stage
The participating players were divided into eight groups, of which six groups with four players each and two groups with five players each. The group stage was played in round robin mode , so that each player met his group opponent once. The top two players in each group made it to the round of 16.

Final round
From the round of 16 onwards, the tournament win and the ticket for the Main Tour were played in a knockout system . Eight Chinese, three Thais, two players from Hong Kong and one player each from Malaysia, Pakistan and Iran took part in the decisive round.
The round of 16 was played in the best of 7 frames mode, the quarter and semi-finals in the best of 9 mode and the final in the best of 11 frames mode, so that six frames were enough to win the tournament. After 10 frames Akani Songsermsawad won the tournament against Yuan Sijun .

During the tournament a total of four century breaks were played by four different players, all from China. Three Centurys were played in the group stage, the fourth Century followed in the quarterfinals by the later finalist Yuan Sijun .
