Rudolf Hermes

Rudolf Hermes (born August 18, 1941 in Frankenholz , Saarland) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Hermes first attended elementary school and later the secondary school in St. Wendel. After graduating from the higher commercial school in Saarbrücken , he joined the senior service of the financial administration in Saarland in 1962. In 1967 he successfully passed the examination to become a tax agent and became head of a tax practice and subsequently employed managing director of a tax consultancy company. Since 1971 he has been working as a freelancer in Bad Gandersheim . In 1974 he successfully passed the tax advisor examination.

Hermes became a member of the CDU in 1962. Here he was elected chairman of the CDU city association in Bad Gandersheim in 1969. He was also deputy chairman of the CDU district association in Gandersheim / Northeim. He later became a member of the CDU district board in Hildesheim and a member of the supervisory board of the non-profit housing association in Bad Gandersheim. Hermes was also a member of the supervisory board of Kurklinik GmbH in Bad Gandersheim.

Public offices

In 1972 Hermes was councilor as well as alderman and also chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the city council of Bad Gandersheim. He was also elected to the district council and was elected to the district committee of the district of Gandersheim (today: district of Northeim ). Hermes was elected as a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in the tenth electoral period between June 21, 1982 and June 20, 1986.
