Rudolf Holste
Rudolf Holste (born April 9, 1897 in Hessisch Oldendorf , † December 4, 1970 in Baden-Baden ) was a German officer , most recently lieutenant general in World War II .
Life
Holste served as an officer in the First World War . In the Wehrmacht, Holste led the 14th Infantry Division and the 4th Cavalry Division as commander during World War II . In the last weeks of the war Holste was still commanding general of the XXXXI. Panzer Corps .
