Rudolf Klein-Rhoden

Rudolf Klein-Rhoden (born January 27, 1871 in Ober-Gerspitz , † January 5, 1936 in Berlin ) was an Austro-German actor .

Life

The son of a master brewer made his debut in 1891 as a youthful hero in Chernivtsi with no acting training . In this subject he played among others in 1894 at the Raimund Theater in Vienna, at the Deutsches Theater in Munich, in Graz and in 1899/1900 in New York.

From 1900 he worked mainly in Germany, for example in Düsseldorf, Hanover (1901) and at the Berlin Residenztheater (1902). From 1913 he received offers for films, and in the following years Klein-Rhoden often appeared in front of the camera as a supporting actor. With the end of the silent film age, he ended his film career.

His brother was the actor Josef Klein .
