action

Because Gilda Rüttener is returning home to her mother after a long period of retirement, Ms. Magda Rüttener is giving her a small party in her honor, at which Dr. Stefan Solm takes part. This worked as an assistant to Dr. Hellmanns, Gilda's uncle and at the same time head of an insane asylum. When Gilda visits his uncle one day at his place of work, she learns from an admission document that her father was also admitted here. The findings at the time were: paralysis. A maid reveals to Gilda that her old man once died of the disease. When Hellmann explains some things about the inheritance of mental illnesses and later overhears a similar conversation between the uncle and his assistant, Gilda believes that her life has been botched because she must never reunite with the man she will love. The shadows of the past take a completely new turn when they meet Manuel Alverez. He claims that he not only once was Magda's lover, but also that not Rüttener, but himself is her father. Gilda breathes freely, nothing stands in the way of a future together with Solm, with whom she has fallen in love.

“Lotte Neumann is a program in itself. She has her followers, with whom she knows how to ingratiate herself again and again through her charm. The quality of this film is excellent. "
