The Welsh Labor Party ( Welsh Plaid Llafur Cymru , dt. About Welsh Labor Party ), short Welsh Labor ( Welsh Llafur Cymru ), is a sub-organization of the British Labor Party in Wales . The Welsh Labor Party is the largest party in Wales and has had 30 seats in the Welsh Parliament since 2021 .

History and present

After the founding of the National Assembly for Wales in 1999, the Welsh Labor Party consistently won first place in the elections to the Welsh National Assembly. The party has one of four Welsh seats in the European Parliament. It currently controls 30 of the 60 seats, 27 of which were won through the First Past the Post system.
