Rudolf "Rudi" Müller (born September 28, 1960 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Rudolf Müller managed to play there again eleven years after his last appearance in the 1st Bundesliga . From 1979 to 1982 Müller played three times for 1. FC Köln in the 1. Bundesliga. After stopovers at Rot-Weiss Essen and Wuppertaler SV with whom he including in the 2. Bundesliga played, he returned in 1993 back to 1. FC Köln. There, however, he was only intended as a leader for his own amateur team. On the last day of the 1993/94 season there was a shortage of defenders among the professionals. Coach Morten Olsen decided to use Rudi Müller, who convinced with solid performances in the second team. In 1995 he moved back to Wuppertaler SV in the Regionalliga West / Südwest .

Rudolf Müller played a total of 82 second division games and scored eleven goals.
