Rudolf Schittenhelm

Rudolf Schittenhelm (born October 10, 1897 in Wildgrub , Austrian Silesia , † May 12, 1945 in Aussig ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Life

Schittenhelm, an architect in Kulm by profession , had been a member of the NSDAP since November 1938. From December 1938 he was district leader of the party in the district of Aussig in the Reichsgau Sudetenland . In November 1943, Schittenhelm was promoted to Obersturmbannführer in the SA .

Schittenhelm joined the National Socialist Reichstag on October 4, 1944 in the replacement procedure for the member of parliament Rudolf Raschka , in which he represented the Sudetenland until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945 . During Schittenhelm's tenure, however, there was no session of the Reichstag. A few days after the Wehrmacht surrendered in World War II , he took his own life and that of his family.
