Rudolf Tillmann

Rudolf Tillmann (born April 13, 1941 in Menden (Sauerland) ) is a German administrative lawyer and local researcher .

Life

Tillmann grew up on a farm in the Sauerland. He attended primary school in Eisborn for four years and then the Walram grammar school in Menden. After graduating from high school in 1961 and completing his military service, he studied law in Munich and Münster, completing the first state examination at the Hamm Higher Regional Court . During his legal preparatory service, he worked for six months at the German-Chilean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Santiago de Chile .

After passing the second state examination in 1972 in Düsseldorf, he joined the Essen Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) . From 1974 to 1983 he was a member of the management of the Siegen Chamber of Commerce and from 1983 to the end of 2002 of the Düsseldorf Chamber of Commerce and Industry . For almost 25 years, Tillmann has volunteered as chairman for Sportfreunde Obersdorf-Rödgen and TSV Metzkausen, among others. He is honorary chairman of Mettmann-Sport and member of the board of the Kreisportbundes Mettmann.

After retiring, Tillmann devoted himself to studies of regional and family history in southern Westphalia with several publications. On July 12, 2010 he received his doctorate from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf with the thesis The electoral Cologne main courtyard Blintrop-Niedernhöfen in the rulership and economic system of St. Severin / Cologne .

He is a member of the Catholic student union K.St.V. Saxonia Munich in KV .
