Rudolf Trautmann (born March 4, 1908 in Annaburg ; † July 18, 1944 in Kazlyne , Lithuanian SSR ) was a German Nazi functionary and a member of the Reichstag from 1943 to 1944 .

biography

Trautmann was born the son of a teacher and, after graduating from high school in 1926 in Wittenberg, studied law at the University of Halle (Saale) until 1929 . He joined the NSDAP in 1926 under membership number 40.390 and was organizational leader of the party in Halle from 1926 to 1929. He was a believer in God . He passed his first state examination in law in 1929 at the Higher Regional Court in Naumburg , then worked as a trainee lawyer at various courts in Naumburg until 1933.

From 1933 to November 14, 1934, Trautmann was department head of the Gaurerechtsstelle at the Gauleitung Magdeburg-Anhalt. In 1933 he passed the great state law examination and was then a court assessor. From January 1, 1934 to August 1936, he was a member of the city council in Magdeburg. From November 15, 1934 to December 1938, he was Gauamtsleiter for local politics in Magdeburg-Anhalt. In August 1936 he was accepted into full-time party service and was then also Gau managing director until 1938. In April 1938 he was proposed for the first time unsuccessfully for the Reichstag election . For this he was from November 9, 1938 under Rudolf Jordan deputy Gauleiter in Magdeburg-Anhalt, from 1940 in the rank of main service manager. On November 9, 1938, he was also reassigned to the SA service and assigned to the SA group center as SA Oberführer zV. On June 13, 1943, he entered the National Socialist Reichstag for Walter Granzow . Trautmann took part in World War II as a reserve lieutenant and died in mid-July 1944 in combat operations in Lithuania .
