Friedrich Eduard Rudolf Voltolini (born June 17, 1819 in Elsterwerda , † September 10, 1889 in Breslau ) was a German physician and ENT doctor. Voltolini has made a special contribution to the use of galvano-caustic for larynx and nasal diseases.

Life

Voltolini studied in Breslau and Berlin from 1838 . Later he practiced from 1842 in Berlin, Groß-Strehlitz and from 1846 in Lauenburg . In 1852 he was district physician at Falkenberg in Silesia and went in 1860 to Wroclaw, where he joined in 1862 as a lecturer in otology and larynx diseases habilitated . In 1868 he became an associate professor for ears and larynx disorders.

He was a deputy of the Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Prussia .

Voltolini was married to Louise Isabelle Wermelskirch (born May 10, 1831) and had one daughter.
