Rudolf Willy

Rudolf Willy (born August 15, 1855 in Mels , † April 17, 1918 in Mels) was a Swiss philosopher .

Life

After attending grammar school in St. Gallen, he studied at the University of Zurich , where he received his doctorate in 1882. phil. PhD. In 1896 he was a private lecturer in philosophy in Bern, and from 1897 to 1902 in Zurich.

He called his standpoint, which is close to the empiricist criticism of Richard Avenarius , as primary monism. VI Lenin dealt with this in detail in materialism and empirical criticism.
