Rudolph zur Lippe-Brake (born May 10, 1664 at Brake Castle ; † October 27, 1707 there ) was Count zu Lippe-Brake .

Life

Charlotte Amalie - Rudolph's only legitimate child

Rudolph was born on May 10, 1664 as the eldest son of Kasimir zur Lippe-Brake and Anna Amalia zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Homburg (1642–1683). In 1692 he took over the government of the County of Lippe-Brake from his father.

On November 4, 1691, he married Dorothea Elisabeth von Waldeck (* July 6, 1661 at Waldeck Castle , † July 23, 1702 at Brake Castle), who had previously been the abbess of Schaaken Abbey and relinquished her office there to her sister Charlotte.

Rudolph died on October 27, 1707 at Brake Castle. His only legitimate child, Charlotte Amalie, had died as a child in 1703.
