Rudolph Anton

Rudolph Anton (born December 15, 1830 in Borna , † November 11, 1884 in Dresden ) was a German lawyer and conservative politician .

Life

The son of the city judge and member of the state parliament Wilhelm Anton in Borna attended the grammar school in his hometown and the Thomas School in Leipzig . From 1846 to 1851 he studied at the University of Leipzig law . Then he settled as a lawyer in Borna. In 1872/73 he was a member of the seven-member Chamber of Lawyers in Leipzig. From 1873 he worked as a secret councilor and ministerial advisor in the Saxon Ministry of Justice . There he was also a member of the examination committee.

In a by-election in 1872 in the 12th constituency of the city, he was elected to succeed Karl Heinrich in the second chamber of the Saxon state parliament, of which he was a member until 1873.
