The Romanian Orthodox Church St. Archangels Mihail and Gavriil is a church in the highway corner Ortelsburger Allee in Berlin district Westend the district Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf .
history
During the Second World War , the Romanian Orthodox community moved into the rooms of the Evangelical Jerusalem Church , which was completely destroyed on February 3, 1945 by an Allied air raid . After the war, the congregation celebrated church services in a chapel in Kreuzberg until they acquired the property on Heerstraße in 2006 and today's church was built.
The architecture of the building is based on the medieval churches of Moldova . The nave with an area of 23 m × 15 m offers space for 200 people. The church tower is 27 meters high.
