The 2004/05 season was the 75th season of the Romanian Ice Hockey League , the highest Romanian ice hockey division . Champion was for the 39th time in the history of the Steaua Bucharest .

In the main round, each of the six teams played a total of 24 games. The four best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played out. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
