The 2014/15 season was the 84th season of the Romanian Ice Hockey League , the highest Romanian ice hockey league . Master was the CSM Dunărea Galați , who defeated the main round winner Steaua Bucharest with 4-1 victories in the playoff final . It was the first championship title for the club from the Moldova region .

The two Romanian representatives in the MOL league , the ASC Corona 2010 Brașov and the HSC Csíkszereda , took part in the preliminary round, but not in the main round of the league. The field of participants in the main round consisted of the following clubs:

While Corona Brașov entered the semi-finals of the playoffs due to his placement in the preliminary round, Csíkszereda only played for fifth against the last of the main round.

In the preliminary round, in which all six teams participated, each team played ten games. The two best-placed teams in the preliminary round qualified for the play-off semi-finals.

In the main round, without the two MOL league teams, each of the four teams completed a total of 27 games. The results of both rounds were added and the two best-placed teams also qualified for the playoff semi-finals. The other two teams played from fifth and sixth place. The playoff semifinals were played in the best-of-five mode, the final in the best-of-seven mode. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
