The 2014/15 season was the 24th season of the Latvian Ice Hockey League , the highest Latvian ice hockey league . Master was for the first time in the club history of HK Mogo .
mode
In the main round, the seven teams played 30 games each. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, each team received two points for a win after overtime, one point for a loss after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time. The top ranked team qualified directly for the semi-finals of the playoffs, in which the champions will be played out, while the other six teams determined the three other participants in the semi-finals in the play-off quarter-finals.
Attendees
Of the participants of the previous season, three teams left the league: the HK Ozolnieki / Monarhs and the HK Dinamo Juniors stopped playing and the HK Daugavpils withdrew to the second division (1st division). The HASC Jūrmala , HK Liepāja , HK Mogo (the former HK SMScredit.lv ) and Ogre / Sāga 18 were added as replacements .
Main round
The main round of the Latvian ice hockey league comprised 30 game days, began on September 6, 2014 and ended on March 7, 2015.
With 24 wins from 30 games, the HK Mogo prevailed and thus moved directly into the playoff semi-finals.
