The 2014/15 season was the twelfth season of the Elite Ice Hockey League , the highest British ice hockey league . The previous year's winners of the playoffs, the Sheffield Steelers , were the first of the regular season and thus British champions , but this year they were defeated by Coventry Blaze sixth in the main round in the playoff finals .

In the regular season, each of the ten teams played a total of 52 games. The first place became British Champion. The eight best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs, in which the playoff winner was played. For a win after regular playing time and after overtime each team received two points, for a defeat after overtime or shootout one point and for a defeat after normal playing time zero points.
