The 2006/07 season was the 16th season of the Latvian Ice Hockey League , the highest Latvian ice hockey league . Champion was for the fifth time in the club history of HK Riga 2000 .

In the main round, the six teams played 40 games each. All six teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played out. In the first playoff round, the top two teams in the main round had a bye. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, each team received two points for a win after overtime, one point for a loss after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
